The USA Academic Rating Continues to Fall!

Depending on who you ask, the US education system is either a total failure of the top of the line. The facts is that academic skills of American students and achievement still lags that of their peers in many other countries. That is depending on who you ask, politicians or parents of course! When it is all said and done, many reports place the America at a mediocre 38th place out of 71 countries in math and 24th in science. Among the 35 members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which sponsors the PISA initiative, the U.S. ranked 30th in math and 19th in science. In a recent article published at www.Beenke.Com many parents are taking matters into their own hands. This means a number of things one up-and-coming trend that politicians in local municipalities are very afraid of is homeschooled. With that said, given the fact that in a lot of households nowadays both parents work this is a trend that would have minimal impact.

Dr. Koch, the president of Celebrate Kids, Inc., has done just that andinfluenced many of parents in more than thirty countries through her keynotemessages, seminars, chapels, and other events. Dr. Koch is a regular guest and keynote speaker at GreatHomeSchoolConventions.Com where she promotes awareness to homeschooling your children.

Another way that home school pioneers are pushing their agentda is with tutoring. In a recent interview the president of Reading & Writing Tutoring Center, he blamed the education board and particularly the politicians for the collapse of the US educational system. The issues is the system not the money. He has seen third worlddeveloping countries edge the US in many fronts by simply implementing higher standards plus accountability. Something the liberal driven agenda of the Democratic Party does not believe. In many places outside the USA students who do not meet the academic standards are not onlyleft back but also shame in a way that forces students of all ages to pay additionalattention to what they learned inschool. This allows educators to progressively scale up the curriculum and in return race the academic skill of the students.

This is a completecontradiction to the approach of US politicians and school board members who think in honoring mediocrity and disruptive behavior with participation awards and accolades. Whatis evenworse is giving of passing scores to students that do not meet the educational mandate.
